Latest Release Highlights
BluePrint-PCB Version 7.0 introduces Document Compare and several enhancements to improve document ECO processing.
BluePrint-PCB Version 7.0
BluePrint Reference Designation Handling
- New functionality was introduced to minimize rework to PCB assembly drawings after an ECO is performed. This new functionality preserves ref des label locations and formatting including parts flipped to the opposite side of a PCB. This dramatically reduces the number of ref des leader lines present after an ECO.
- Users can also regenerate reference designators based on interactive selection.
Document Compare
The new Document Compare module assists users in discerning changes between different document revisions.
- Users can select a document to compare against, what differences to look for, set error marker colors, zoom levels and synchronization between the two documents. Users can compare an entire drawing or individual sheets.
- Differences are presented in a hierarchical error explorer to aid users in navigating to areas where a document differs from its target comparison.
- Users can also add comments to results found in the document comparison.
- Documents may be displayed side-by-side, or overlayed when viewing comparison results.
- Users can also view comparison results and comments in the BluePrint viewer for any document where a comparison was previously performed.
Enhanced Cadence Allegro Interface – PCB designs created in Cadence’s Allegro and OrCad PCB Designer can be passed over to BluePrint-PCB via and enhanced integration interface. Use new entries embedded into the Cadence menu system to initiate new documents or update existing documents.
New BluePrint Subscription Pricing:
