When placing a PCB View certain objects display on top of other objects.
BluePrint display’s objects in its PCB Views using the following rules:
If Obj1 is on Layer1 and Obj2 is on Layer2 and Layer1 < Layer2, then Obj1 will be displayed above Obj2
If Layer 1 = Layer2, then we use the following object display order (the first object will be displayed on top of all others):
- BluePrint Reference Designators
- Polarity Markers
- Drills
- Pads
- Component Outline
- Component Fill
- Lines
- Routes
- Test Points
- Vias
- Board Outline
- CAD (PADS Only) Reference Designators
- Copper
