PADS Layout has a special database construct for teardrops. This construct is not yet supported in BluePrint. During import, BluePrint checks to see if the design contains teardrops and reports a warning if it does. In this situation, the design data in BluePrint is fully viable for documentation. However, BluePrint is not able to display the teardrops. PADS Layout also has a global teardrop setting. If this setting is disabled then PADS Layout ignores any teardrops in the design. However, BluePrint does not recognize the PADS global teardrop setting. If the design has teardrops, BluePrint will report warnings even if the PADS global teardrop setting is disabled. This issue will be fixed in a future release.
