Can I change precision of the drill sizes in the drill chart?

Yes.

You can change the precision of the drill sizes in the Drill Chart instance using the Format Drill Chart dialog or in the Drill Chart template so that every new Drill Chart you drag and drop will display this new precision. Here are directions to change the Drill Chart template.

  1. Select the drill chart on the sheet. Select the Fit Selection command on the navigation toolbar to zoom in on the drill chart.
  2. Select the Edit Template command from the context menu (RMB)
  3. Move your cursor over the text “Drills.Size” (row 3, column 2). Select the RMB to bring up the context menu and select the command Format Cells.
  4. On the Format Drill Chart Template dialog select the Data Fields tab.
  5. The last item on this dialog page is the precision which you can select from the drop-down menu and set to .1234. Select OK to close the dialog.
  6. Save the template to BluePrint’s gallery for reuse using the Save to Gallery command from the template’s context menu.
  7. Select Execute Template from the Drill Chart’s context menu. You should now see the appropriate precision.
