BluePrint is a dynamic new tool, developed in the
style of Microsoft Office, that automates the PCB documentation process.
It quickly creates electronic drawings to
drive PCB fabrication and assembly. BluePrint “knows” it is creating a
PCB document and imports PCB CAD data to automatically create and
intelligently link PCB Views, details, document notes, external
documents, URLs and multi-media content. The result is an electronic
document which better articulates the instructions for successful
fabrication, assembly and inspection of printed circuit boards and which
contains all the data necessary to build, view and archive the final
product.
- Creates PCB drawings for fabrication, assembly, and inspection
- Uses MS Office methods to increase productivity and ease-of-use
- Generates documents as they would appear to document control and
manufacturing
BluePrint 2.0 will be released in December 2008. If you
purchase maintenance you will be automatically upgraded to the latest
technology, plus you'll be able to download each new "rolling release".
BluePrint Version 2.0 solves the problem of creating Panel drawings for assembly.
A new module for BluePrint allows you to quickly step and repeat PCBs on a new or previously created
panel form factor, and define necessary pinning and fiducial locations. You may also define breakout
methods used to separate the PCB from the panel, including a variety of NC routing with breakouts, as
well as V-scoring or any combination. Using BluePrint’s patented linking technology any changes made
to the PCB database in follow on ECOs are automatically reflected in the panel document.
With BluePrint and CAM350 integrated in release 10 and 2, you save more time now than ever before.
This integration allows existing panel designs in CAM350 to be imported into BluePrint for documentation creation
or BluePrint panel drawings to be imported into CAM350 for NC extraction of Gerber, Drill, and Mill data if desired.
The combination of BluePrint and CAM350 creates a unified solution for complete post processing of PCB layouts
to drive manufacturing.
