Strong Global Demand for Company’s Flagship CAM350™ Product Cited as Main Reason for Growth
Marlborough, Mass – February 27, 2006 – DownStream Technologies, LLC, the leading provider of tools to
automate the PCB Release Process, today announced that year-to-year sales revenue increased by 13% in 2005. Driving these strong
numbers were increases across all geographical areas for their flagship product, CAM350™ including dramatic growth in Europe (up 15%)
and Asia (up 22%) respectively. The company credited the sales growth to a major release of CAM350 which contained new “Streams Rule Check”
technology. Streams Rule Check shortens the amount of time it takes to perform PCB design analysis and has been well accepted in the PCB design community.
In addition, EBITA margin (Earnings Before Interest, Tax and Amortization) was 11%, achieved while the company continues spending in R&D,
finalizing new product introductions and other investments in long term growth.
