Kenneth Tepper Joins DownStream Technologies

Industry Veteran to Oversee Research & Development and Manufacturing

Bolton, Mass – February 10, 2004 – DownStream Technologies, LLC, a leading supplier of innovative software and services for the CAM marketplace, today announced the appointment of Kenneth Tepper as Principal. Tepper's responsibilities will include overseeing DownStream's research & development and manufacturing organizations, as well some additional day-to-day operations.

Prior to joining DownStream Technologies, Tepper served as Engineering Director, Systems Design Division at Mentor Graphics. Prior to Mentor, he was CEO of PADS Software, Inc. where he guided the company through a successful acquisition by Innoveda, Inc. Tepper will continue to serve on DownStream's board of directors and holds a bachelor of science and mathematics degree.

This appointment reunites Tepper with DownStream co-founder's Almeida and Joseph Clark, both of whom he worked with at Mentor Graphics, Innoveda and PADS Software.
