DownStream Technologies Announces Customer Training and Educational Services Program

New program delivers high quality training to help leverage investment in CAM350 software

Bolton, Mass – July 21, 2003 – DownStream Technologies, LLC today announced a new Customer Training and Educational Services Program. The program is designed to help new and existing customers maximize their investment in the CAM350 product line by providing detailed training on the product’s powerful features and functionality.

Our customers believe CAM350 gives them the advantage they need to win and our new Customer Training and Educational Services Program helps them to utilize the product to its fullest potential,” said Rick Almeida, President of DownStream Technologies. “The program also allows new CAM350 users to be trained quickly and inexpensively, getting them up to speed in a matter of hours instead of days,” he added.

Program Description

The Customer Training and Educational Services Program is taught by expert instructors and can be delivered either at a customer site or a various, pre-scheduled cities across the country. The course curriculum covers Design Verification topics including:

  • User Interface
  • File Manipulation (Gerber, CAD, ODB++, Drill & Mill, AutoCAD, Hpgl)
  • Check Plot Generation
  • DRC & DFF Analysis
  • Reporting
  • Netlist Generation and Comparison

The On-Site program can be customized to meet a customer’s specific needs and may include instruction on other topics such as Electrical Test Programming, Panelization and NC Programming.

The pre-schedule training classes are open to all to attend and have a 15 student maximum. The schedule includes:

  • September 16, 2003 - Grand Prairie, TX
  • November 4, 2003 - Milpitas, CA

Online Training will be available late 2003.
