Advisory: Text Displays Incorrectly in CAM350

Problem:

Text added using a true type font or changed to a true type font displays incorrectly. Only the first character is displayed or all characters overlap in a single space.

Text in simple font (correct)	Same text in Arial (wrong)

 

Solution:

• Open Control Panel (on most versions of windows this is off the Start Menu)
• Select Display | Appearance and then click on the “Effects” button
• The value of “Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:” is currently set to “Clear Type”
• Change it to “Standard”
• Select OK until exited
• Restart Cam350
