Problem:
CAM350 runs in Sharware mode after installing PADS2004
Resolution:
CAM350 uses Sentinel drivers to interface to hardware keys.
CAM350 ships with Sentinel driver version 5.41.1. Some applications,
like PADS2004, ship with older versions of the Sentinel driver. PADS2004
ships with Sentinel driver version 5.39.1. When applications like PADS2004
are installed, the Sentinel drivers are overwritten by the PADS2004 installation
and CAM350 will not work correctly.
To avoid this problem, install the application, like PADS2004, with
the older Sentinel version and then install CAM350. That will install
the Sentinel version 5.41.1 drivers, which is the one you want and need.
If CAM350 is already installed, you can reinstall the Sentinel version 5.41.1 drivers
using the installation media in the CAM350 program directory. The default
location is:
C:\Program Files\DownStreamTech\CAM350_8.5\Hardlock\SSD5411-32bit.exe
