CAM350 Live Product Demonstrations

Below you will find a selection of online module demonstrations designed to give you a better understanding of CAM350's capabilities. Each demo can be either saved to your system to be viewed off-line, or you may choose to watch the demo online.

Please scroll down to see the full selection of live online demos.

Streams Rule Checking

Streams RC: Learn to automate your process of design analysis with Streams RC.  Run DRC, DFF and Netlist Compare from one Stream. Save off Streams to run against future designs. Customize Streams areas for differing technologies on the same design. Chart the results, for faster verification. Annotate the errors for communication within the design group.

Netlist Compare

Netlist Compare Demonstration to verify that the electrical characteristics of the Gerber layers match the design intent.

Crossprobing with Cadence and Mentor

Example with Cadence Allegro - The demo below illustrates crossprobing intelligent data (Allegro) to Gerbers (CAM350). Select a component, pin, or net in the CAD database and zoom to it in the Gerbers.

Example with Mentor PADS Layout (PowerPCB) - The demo below illustrates crossprobing the results of a DRC back into a CAD database (PowerPCB).

DRC and DFF

Design Rule Checking and DFF to verify Gerber layer match design rules plus analysis for design flaws.

Fast Array Module

Defines PCB positions on a panel. Quickly array a PCB or group of PCBs on a panel to feed fabrication and assembly processes.

Panel Editor

Automates the panelization process. Allows for creation of panel templates, intelligent coupons, pinning holes, fiducials, and title blocks.

NC Editor

Import, export, and creation NC-mill and drill data.

Reverse Engineering

If you are working with "legacy" data in a Gerber format, DownStream can "Reverse Engineer" it for you. Reverse engineering is the process of starting with Gerber files then adding part and netlist information, to create an intelligent database, which can be brought back to any CAD system.
