Crossprobing with Allegro or PADS Layout
Example with Cadence Allegro - The demo below illustrates crossprobing intelligent data (Allegro) to Gerbers (CAM350).
Select a component, pin, or net in the CAD database and zoom to it in the Gerbers.
Example with Mentor PADS Layout (PowerPCB) - The demo below illustrates crossprobing the results of a DRC back into a CAD
database (PowerPCB).
Reverse Engineering
If you are working with "legacy" data in a Gerber format, DownStream can "Reverse Engineer" it for you.
Reverse engineering is the process of starting with Gerber files then adding part and netlist
information, to create an intelligent database, which can be brought back to any
CAD system.
