BluePrint-PCB Free Viewer Download

DownStream is making it's BluePrint Viewer application a free web download. The purpose of the free viewer is to help users of BluePrint easily distribute their BluePrint generated PCB Release packages to manufacturers and document control.

July 3rd - BluePrint Viewer was updated with BluePrint 1.8 build 336

BluePrint supports three unique viewer capabilities designed to ease the sharing of your PCB release packages:

  • BluePrint Viewer stand alone application (provided here)

  • BluePrint HTML Viewer which allows documentation packages to be exported into HTML and viewed using an Active X component inside of Microsoft Internet Explorer

  • BluePrint Pack and Release viewer which allows users to control the amount of time a document release package may be viewed

The BluePrint viewer supports all hyperlinking functions created by BluePrint that link details to notes and callouts as well as URLs, email addresses, audio, video and electronic files. In addition, BluePrint Viewer can view and query the native, original CAD data imported into BluePrint to create the documents. The viewer also contains a new searching function that scans all documents and the design to show all instances and location of specific components, details, or text strings, far surpassing the capabilities traditional found in PDF exports.

This Viewer is ideal for anyone needing to view a BluePrint-PCB document package - customers, suppliers, colleagues.
